Olympus 35LC value

Hi guys,
I've had in my possesion for a while an Olympus 35LC. This is a cracking camera, uncoupled meter, fully manual, fast f1.7 42mm lens and a nice, bright RF. However, I'm thinking of parting ways with it as my QL17 gets much more use as it is that much smaller.

I'm just wondering if anybody knows what a reasonable price for it is, as I can't seem to find any information anywhere on value.

Oh, and is anybody looking for one?

I paid just under £25 for one I picked up a few weeks back - case OK, and pretty smart LC. I don't think one price is any real indication but I agree it seems a difficult camera to price.
Sorry - but not looking for a second at present. I'm saving for the cost of having my 35RD and 35DC checked over!

There's one going on the bay at the moment, but that one's boxed with all original accessories so that won't really help me out either. I meant to check the Hove book at work last Sunday, but it has gone walkies!

Is it the same size as the 35SP? If it's smaller then maybe 😀

I believe it is larger than the SP, but I'll check.


Hmmm... This is interesting. Whilst snooping around for comparative dimensions and weight, I was on the Olympus Global site. In their camera history page there isno menion of the LC...

It's got the same lens as the SP, but it's bigger--and simpler. The meter is coupled, however, which is nice. It is manually turned on with a simple button in the back, which I think is also kinda nice. It's been my principle shooter for the last couple of years and it is a cracking camera. I paid $75 and it had a recent CLA from camtech.

It is indeed a cracking camera, but it doesn't get the use it deserves with me.
It is bigger than my QL17, although it is dwarfed by the Electro 35 GT. However, I am doing most of my shooting on my Bessa R at the moment.
