A friend of mine offers me an Olympus 35LC for 15 euros. It looks nice although big. I cannot find much information about it. Is it worth it? Its lens is a G. Zuiko 1.7.

The LC is the same lens as the SP. it llacks the Program mode.

Instead, it has a coupled manual meter and manual exposure.

A friend would just give it to you I think...I would not pay that price but that's me, when was it last CLAd..maybe I would pay if it was recent.

I saw this on a japanese page:

OLYMPUS 35LC

Year: 1967
Lens: G.ZUIKO 42mm/F1.7 (7 elements in 5 groups)
Dimension: 138×80×70mm
Shutter Speed B・1~1/500s
Weight: 660g
Battery: H-D(MR-9)x1
Original Price:22800JPY

It's manual mode only with light meter. The size is quite big..

Phew! Bought it. He gave me a dozen of expired film rolls with it too. Indeed it is quite large reminding me of the Canonet QL19. Nice looking though!

Doug, thanks for the info. I was thinking that there was a problem with the light meter as I have never seen a match needle light meter in an Oly 36 before.

Cannot wait trying my first roll with it.
