Olympus 35RC exposure meter schematic or help wanted

Finally getting around to trying to fix my old 35RC, which was a great camera, but the meter gave up the ghost prob ten years ago. Have checked out Rick Oleson's excellent disassembly instructions but they are a little light on the metering system.

There seems to be some power getting to it (though not much), and the needle moves, but never beyond the 22 indicator, which means the shutter will work, whatever the light.

Don't suppose anyone would have a schematic for this, or any other ideas? Thanks in anticipation

Sounds like maybe corrosion is jamming the trap needle system.

Greyhoundman, thanks for the speedy response on this. Don't think there was any corosion I could see, but I'll have another look tomorrow

Had another look at this after being sidetracked for a while and the problem sees to be that there's a flap that descends when you press the shutter, which stops the needle moving beyond f22 (see pic hopefully attached). I'm guess that this is something to do with enabling the shutter on the manual mode, and wondering if the auto mode should stop this flap from descending.

Does this make sense to anyone? Anyone got any ideas what the prob is...

Yup. Can see the thin plate with notches, but it doesn't seem to descend any further than on the photo. Comes down a bit but nowhere near enough to touch the needle.

Did you ever work this out? I have one that needs meter work now as well.
