I have a strange issue with my Olympus 35RC. Lately, when I took it out I had noticed that the RF patch does not move. I have unscrewed the RF coupling rod cover and pushed the rod inwards with a thin screw driver. Then, everything has gotten back to normal. How do I prevent this from happening again? Is there something in there that was holding the rod in forward?

Something else that looks strange to me is that when opening the shutter in B at say f5.6 the opening seems a bit misplaced as if one of the blades does not open fully.

Done! I had it to a local camera repair shop and had it fixed right in front of my eyes. He has opened the lens from the front, taken it apart up to the aperture blades, taken them off cleaned then and reassembled it.
This cost me 25euros. I didn't care because that has been a gifted Oly that I would be really sorry replacing it.
The little one is on a mission again with a 12-16 frame roll of Ilford P4 just to make sure everything is o.k.

That's good news. They aren't a hard camera to work on, and luckily, you have a local repairman. Expose film to your hearts content!
