Olympus 35RD - wrong lightmeter in flash-mode

Hello,

in Flashmode the lightmeter of my Oly RD give me a permanent misrepresentation information. The needle stops between 2 and 2,8.

Whats wrong here?

With these old RFs I would not trust any of the electronic indications. I would only use the fully machanical functions and even remove the battery. If you must use flash, best to use it manually and control your output from the flash instead. And use a handheld meter instead of the built-in one. Ths way you will find using the RD a lot more fun. I like its compact body and quiet and light shutter very much. But you do need a good lens hood and avoid shooting into the light!
