Hi, I have just aquired an Olympus 35 SP Rangefinder. I have never come across one of these before but I am very happy with it. It has a G Zuiko 1.7 lens with 7 elements in 4 groups, E.V. Cds light meter which works perfectly in both full auto or manual mode. It also has a 6 degree spot meter, self timer and is built like the proberbial brick out house. I took it out this morning and put a roll of fuji through it and although the weather was bad,( Drizzling and heavily overcast), I got some pretty good pics. I have attached one of them to see what others think. The resolution and contrast with this lens is, I think, pretty good. Certainly better than my QL. Rod.🙂

It doesn't look as if your attachment, um, attached. But the 35 SP is certainly a well-regarded camera in these parts. About the only things I didn't like about mine were the long shutter-release stroke and the fact that there's no convenient way to meter manually (you have to set the camera to auto mode, note the EV reading on the viewfinder scale, then choose a shutter speed and aperture that add up to that EV reading.) I always felt the lens was one of the best on any compact 35.

Have fun, and better luck next time with your attachments!
