Another in a long line of sliding door Point & Shoot cameras from Olympus with a 35mm f3.5 lens. For a $2 user, it does pretty well.

Yup! People who turn their noses up at cheapo charity shop cameras miss a lot of fun and using them is good practise as you need to think to squeeze the best out of them.

Thanks, all. The AF-10 Super Quartz Date was sold in the US as the Infinity Jr., which I just remembered tonight I have one of those. It lacks the flash control switch of the AF-10 Super, and the pull on the door is shaped different, but is otherwise identical. Also marketed in Japan as the Picasso Mini-Super. The "Super" comes from an improved flash system (according to the Olympus History site), which may mean my Jr. is a twin of the AF-10 (pre-Super). So maybe the control switch was the improvement.
