Some very nice ones here

I wonder if there was a 'Pen for Women': Link

I hadn't visited for awhile, man there are a lot more now! It's interesting that they are constantly adding tasty shots of vintage cameras.

1. I want hands-on access to their equipment archive.
2. Can the rest of the company (i.e. product development) get in sync with these guys and design stuff true to the heart of Olympus?

I use the Ace wallpaper on my machine at home. It's a bad idea for me to do that, but I do.

Wow,

Great site, I down loaded about a dozen images. I like to get my hands on some of the cameras!

I got the Pen F 1963 image. Sweeeet. Time to go fondle my Pen F!

edit: ooooo, the black Pen F is gorgeous!

.

Ouch...makes me kick myself even harder for letting go of my OM-3. (Galfriend at least has her OM-2S...)

Edit...see the Pen-series one with Maitani signing his name (with a Pelikan Souverän 1000, no less)?

Something for more than one kind of "Pen" fan.

I was going through these again yesterday, downloading some more. Yowza, they are all wonderful, some of them just too gorgeous to look at.

Dammit. It's like to invite an alcoholic-in-denial on some wild party. I already have Om1n/28mm/35mm/50mm/135mm and 35SP. Why I look at this Pen F? Will it improve my photography? I doubt. I just want it.

What is it about the Pen F - sweet! I must have one...

Seriously, the Pen-FT does improve my experience in photography. I never thought that a default portrait orientation can be so much fun to take a picture with. Plus scanning a roll of 24 and getting 48-50 images from it just plain sick :) not to mention fun!

Furthermore... the sharpness and color saturation even from the "standard" 38mm/1.8 lens is just astounding. Let me see if I can find a sample that Trius hasn't seen yet ;)

This is very impresive ... I am in thoughts : I need quiet rangefinder, with speed lenses, like Yashica RF-s ... I can't understand: why Olimpus doesn't think about
digital or analog RF like 70's RF cameras?
Alex Majoli have done gooood job with C-5o5o ...

If Olympus has a Majoli who can produce prize-winning work with a C-5050, why would they spend millions of $$ on developing a digital RF, new lens line, plus the marketing expense? Here's a Magnum photographer who shoots in the RF style and uses a "prosumer" digicam for a lot of important work. What's better marketing than that?

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it, and a designer such as Maitani (or get Isao Edatsune to come on over) could pull it off from a technical standpoint. But it's not going to happen.

Now, if I could get a digicam with decent sensor performance, a kick-butt zoom lens and a mode that allows me to use the controls in manual mode (i.e, all the auto stuff turned off or custom settings accessible through one-button click), and a good optical VF, I could "settle" for that. Barrett would say the C-8080 fits that bill, and I trust him, so I may end up with that one. When the time comes, there may be other options so we'll see.

I believe that your words are true ... but there is no C - 5o5o and C - 8o8o to buy...
Few months ago I have bought Fujifilm S 65oofd on credit ... it has good sensor, 28mm wide angle( I don't need lenses over 1oomm ), but its largest aperture is 2.8 :bang: . they have invested in DSLR's and we know that Oly has BIG problems with high ISO noisy shots...
