Hello to all RFF!
I have just received an Om-4ti and when it come the viewfinder illuminator didn't work. I read in the manual that in low-light conditions I should use it, but nothing happens when I push the button.
The LED inside (it should be a led, right?) can be replaced?
Thank You

Pretty much any part can be replaced if you can find someone who has the spare part and who knows how to do it. Your best bet will probably be Camtech Photo Services Inc. They sepciallize in OM cameras. Here's a link: http://www.zuiko.com/

If you dont mind the UK give Keith Leedham a ring: http://www.klcamerarepairs.co.uk/. He's good with Oly.

OM-Doktor in Hamburg is the obvious one if you do not want UK - see www.om-doktor.de, although in UK Luton Camera Repairs are the Olympus agents www-lutoncameras.co.uk.

I second Camtech Photo Services Inc. They can do it all for an Olympus. I needed a never to be found piece and they had it.
