Yeah Michael Spencer. He refuses to work on OM4 (and I think he said OM2SP models too) though. Nice chap.

Closer to home just north of Uckfield (East Sussex) is Protech repairs (they used to next door to MXV in Uckfield if you used them) http://www.protechrepairs.co.uk/
They did a great job on fixing my OM2n's erratic shutter this summer, and very affordable too. You can drop the camera off and pick it up from them. Quick turn around, fast, friendly.
I have also used Michael Spencer and his work was great although I'm wondering if I am now getting a slipping advance lever like I did on another OM2n but admittedly the thing has been used and abused for a good 12 months since the CLA!

And thanx Vicky, didn`t know Protech were still going, I`d assumed that they went when MXV folded, got a mint F4s from them.

I've had good results from Luton cameras but it strikes me that their prices are on the high side. I asked them to quote for reconditioning a couple of rechargeable battery packs for my motor drives and it actually proved cheaper to send them to John Hermanson in the US, including taking the postage hit.

Thanx very much guys and gal) OM1/2 now on their way to Michael Spencer, had a long interesting chat on the phone with him yesterday. It appears that all the `extra` work I thought I needed is in fact all part of the standard CLA and service that Michael provides. It`s good to be dealing with an expert and gentleman.
It may not be the biggest, but RFF is the friendliest photo forum I know.
