I got an Olympus OM-F today. It's in terrific cosmetic condition.
Problem is the focus indicator lights at the bottom of the screen are not working. The red indicator light indicating shutter speed is working.
I tried it with the Zuiko MC Auto-S 1.4 50mm lens.
I put in five 357 batteries as I'm out of LR44...could that be the problem?
Any suggestions??

Well, I solved my problem. Turns out the camera has to be either held very still or mounted on a tripod. I have essential tremors and have trouble holding that still. Even on a tripod, if the subject (flower) was moving in the wind, the focus indicating lights wouldn't work. The focus indicator did work on a stationary object.
I got the camera yesterday from a women on Facebook Market Place. It came with the lens pictured below. She broke the wire off the battery cover so I couldn't test it, and she didn't have the in focus trigger cord that attaches from the lens to the socket on the upper right on the camera. The lens is clean and the glass looks great.
How would i reattach the wire? it came from under the round metal tab on the battery cover.

is this the only lens available to test it? This is a f/4 lens, i suppose that any other lens (like the cheapo 50f/1.8) will work better.
Not sure how to help with the wire.

I didn't test it with the Auto-zoom 35-70mm.
I tested it with a Zuiko MC Auto-S 50mm 1.4, and the focus indicator does work.
I do have other Zuikos to try: 24mm 1:2, 55mm 1.2, 85mm 1:2, 135mm 2.8 & 3.5
