Olympus OM Lens Hoods Question

I have correct lens hood for my 28mm f3.5 lens - can it be used on my 50/1.4 and my 100/2.8 lenses without vignetting?

If it does not vignette on your 28mm, it will not vignette on lenses longer than that, either.

I have used a 38/3.5 hood on my 50mm OM lenses; no vignetting but as others said, not much flare protection. OM lenses are not prone to flare anyway, i use mine for protection from bumps and fingers and the 50mm Oly hood is common on ebay, $10-$20 often still in the box. I have a couple of them.
