Olympus OM-System Zuiko Auto-Zoom 35-70mm 1:4 Repair Question

Can anyone suggest a way to repair this lens ?
The orange wire was attached under the small circular piece on the battery cover. The women I bought it from broke it.
How could I reattach that wire?

Solder, probably.


I have one of those lenses! They're uncommon, made to autofocus on the OM-F (Om-30). There is a more common non-AF version of this lens, too.
