Hello, OM users!
I have a little 'big' problem with my OM2n bought from ebay.
Auto is working fine, I shot a film role and was ok, but in Manual Mode the shutter speed are a total disaster.
Let me explain You what is happening:
The shutter speed fires - from /1000 to /60 - normal. At /30 is very long, and at /15 the shutter behaves just like the 'B'.
At /8th the shutter fires extremely quick.
At 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 'B' the mirror remains stuck up, to come down the selector level needs to be put on 'OFF'.
What is interesting is that I compared the shutter speeds with my OM-1. You know what I found?
The /1000 on the Om2n is equal to /30 to OM1.
The /500 on OM2 = /15 on OM1
and so on, until /30 (om2) which is 1 sec (om1).
So what is wrong with the om2n in manual mode? Why the speeds are in wrong position?
