Olympus PEN-F/FT/FV Lens Adapters (OM and P/M42)

I picked up two Olympus-PEN adapters for a few dollars last week at the local thrift store. One is an Olympus OM and the other is Practica/M42.
There were no manuals with either adapter.
This is not a path I’ve ever considered before but since I have several Takumar and Zuiko lenses I might as well try them on my PEN-FT.

When I mount the M42/OM full-size SLR lenses to the PEN is the crop factor still 1.5x?
e.g., the SMC Takumar 50mm/1.4 will be 75mm equivalent on the PEN?

First off, congrats, those adapters are usually very expensive.
Now, to your question about the crop factor. Generally you can use the average of 1.4X.
But it really depends on what size enlargement you intend for your negatives. The aspect ratio of full frame is 2:3 whereas half frame is 3:4 so there is not one answer.
For regular darkroom enlargement to 8X10 paper I've printed full frame to 6X9 inches and half frame to 6X8 inches. So in that case the crop factor is 1.33X.

So, your example of a 50mm lens at 1.33x would be approx. 67mm

A nice find, indeed! 1.4x is a reasonable rule of thumb, figuring based on the nominal format diagonals. The film gates of my Olympus Pen cameras generally don't quite deliver a full 18x24mm, and there's some variation from camera to camera, so I don't think it's worth splitting hairs over.

Since you mentioned it, here's a series I made while out on a walk with my 50mm f/1.4 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar on my Pen FT.
