Hi all.
I have a lovely Oly 35SP in great condition but I want to get it serviced as a few things need doing, seals, rangefinder is a little off, and I think she deserves it.
Can anyone suggest a UK service agent who is respected and known to be good?

Can't remember the name, but there used to be a shop in Luton, right next to the bus terminal, that specialized in Olympus repairs. Luton Camera Shop -or something like that it was caled. You might be able to google it up.

I've only had a quote (not any physical work) from Luton Camera Repair Services (http://www.lutcamre.demon.co.uk/) (I think this is the one you were after micek not CRR Luton who do Leica).

He did a good job on my Olympus OM1 but whwn I asked him about doing a 35RC he didn't think it worthwhile. He might think otherwise over the 35SP though.
I'm having a 35RD seen to by someone in Welham Green (Herts) but it isn't completly sorted yet so I'm not going to pass judgement. Don't know where you are but Ray in WG seems happy to have callers (by appointment).
The Norfolk Camera Centre have also done work for one of the RF members. Don't know how satisfactory it was though.
