Olympus SLR and Rangefinder Cameras

What I find most amazing about that collection is that the OM-3, a pro camera, is not significantly bigger than the Pen. I've never handled any of the single digit OMs (I have an OM40), but after seeing an old Nikon F-something, I just expected the single digits OMs to be so much bigger than they actually are.

And of course, that fibre optic kit is pretty interesting.

The small, diminutive size was the whole, wonderful point of the OM. 🙂

OlympusRF, you have the E.Zuiko 2.8 / 35 mm? How is it? I read it's a Heliar design, probably the only wide angle of such type.

The light-metre in my OM1n has stopped working, I would love to fix it myself but I am a little wary of opening the thing up. I've got nothing to lose I guess.

Would anyone have any tips for me?

Its not bad, usually the ACE lenses don't have a reputation of being great, but I have take good photos (IMO) with them, including the 35mm lens.

Maitani was a genius. Olympus has some of the best film cameras imo. My OM-1 is probably my favorite analog SLR to date. In some ways, I prefer using it over my Ms.
