The little cam does have a weakness: AF is set on that little square in the middle, and I usually do not hang compositions on a middle point. There may be a way to defeat that, but I don't know what it is. this is an issue only with close-ups ...

If you depress and hold the shutter halfway, it will lock the exposure. So focus where you want, press the shutter just enough for the green AF light to appear, then compose and depress the button all the way.Thank you, Barrett and Jesse.
