A long title for such a small camera. It’s another in a line of sliding-door point-and-shoot cameras with a 38-80mm zoom lens instead of a 35mm fixed focal length.
I used Kentmere 400 on a rainy day to check out the “All Weather” rating of the camera. The DX metering, and auto focus were just fine, except on a couple of shots. And on one of those it was definitely my fault.
Staunton, VA and the surrounding Augusta County area were the subjects of this test. Other than a light leak that appears to be coming from the lens barrel, the camera performed very well for an old P&S.
Here you can see the leaks as arcs in the corners.

A good place to stop and chat with Dave about all the cameras.

I can’t remember if this was the shot when the flash actuated.

A little bit of juxtaposition.

I really detest overhead utility lines.

Seven photo stitch in PSE10. And no corrections made.

Mju series were game changers, due to quality packed into small body and new look. I remember them in shops, they cost not much less than entry level SLR with kit zoom lens. Well, maybe 2/3?
Unfortunately they tend to develop leak in lens, my Mju 80 has it and on flick some users of standard 35/2.8 model also show same leak. I have forget lens position and when leak isn't appearing but your pictures prove it's possible.

Yes, and you can still buy them for a pittance. Often the postage etc is more on ebay.

I bought a couple at local charity store for $5ea. but similar experience with light leaks as shown in your example. Now I can't remember which one had the leak... (bangs head against wall)

I tried to give one away, complete with case and manual, in the Christmas giveaway a couple of years ago. No one wanted it!
Now, just for spite, I'm keeping it!
