Olympus XA - real top shutter speed

Hi,

Does anyone know the real top shutter speed of the Oly XA? The manual states 1/500 but I suspect there might be a margin on top of this.

I guess there is a small margin, but not too much for sure. Nothing to consider seriously... If the camera went to 1/1000, that would be on specifications... Lots of cameras have been made to reach 1/640...
