Does anybody know of a reliable XA repair person?
My carry-everywhere, much-beloved XA is now with a frozen winding knob. I've downloaded the repair manual, obtained appropriate screwdrivers, etc. But my hand tremor, ageing vision, and, yes, terror in the face of this task has humbled me.
I've heard "just buy a replacement". I've found it's not as easy as I thought.
Just a shout-out.
Mike

You can have one of mine that is working. PM me your address, I'll send it in a week or so.

I thought that I saw on Zuiko.com that XA's were no longer being repaired. Pardon me if this is incorrect??

John Hermanson still repairs the original XA, but not the XA1, XA2, XA3 or XA4. $98 and up.

It is stated right on the zuiko.com homepage that he still repairs the original XA.
