Hi.
I have a small issue with the screw underneath the red shutter release button.
Olympus XA
The screw will not stick.
It seems to be broken.
I have searched online for this screw, without success.
On the Olympus XA part diagram this is called
PUK2 x 3 SN
Any thoughts on where I can get this screw ?
Regards
John

PUK is screw head type -- this is a pan head screw
2 is diameter (mm)
3 is length (mm)
SN is finish -- in this case, shiny steel
This screw (under the red plastic release button) screws into a hole in the metal frame of the wind assembly. I suspect the hole is stripped -- sometimes, a self-taping screw from elsewhere on the camera is accidentally screwed into this location, damaging the threads in the metal frame. Replacing the wind assembly would be the best possible solution. Note that there should be a brass washer glued around the hole in the metal frame, between the frame and the top cover -- without this washer, the release button will be unreliable.
