Hi all, My OM-1 is acting up.
The pictures are dark on the right side, meaning whatever is happening is happening right size looking at the camera (if I have it right).
From what little I know about shutters, it would seem that one curtain is getting ahead of itself and not allowing the slit to open, or being dragged by the other, and then slows down halfway across the plane in time to allow it open Just a guess.
It is intermittent, but becoming more common.
Grateful for any help!

The best camera is one that still works!

Think Different
What you are experiencing is called "shutter capping" which is a common problem with many old, horizontal focal plane shutter cameras.
As others suggest, your camera needs a CLA.
