How high do OM1 serial #'s go? I have a black 1n that's over 2.1 million.

The only job of the foam is to cover the space between the prism and the eyepiece lens. It does not support the prism in any way and nothing is altered by removing it. I remove the foam and do not replace it. My overhaul always includes removal of old prism foam, and replacement of all back foam. John

I looked into it pretty hard and cant see any issues with the foam in the upper prism; it might be bad but for now it will be OK.
I replaced the foam on the body and door, not a bad job at all!
Today will be the 2nd roll in about 15 years! Roll #1 was all lght streaked 🙁
Funny enough I jsut got a perfect OM 2n form the original owner...went to buy an enlarger and she told me to take it all 🙂
