OM-2n Frame counter's stopped working

After replacing the light seals on my OM2n I find the frame counter has stopped working. Come to think of it, it might not have been working when I got the camera as it's new to me. Is it easy to access the mechanism? I'm wondering if the new light seal is affecting the zeroing release that is normally activated when the door is opened. Where is that release so I can clear it of light seal?

Sounds like you ran the seal over the latch that controls the zeroing. It is on the top, at a location near the shutter release location.

Yep, you have to leave a little gap. But make sure it's very little. I refoamed one of my OM1's and 2 years later that gap has grown a bit and created a light leak.

You probably foamed over the counter resetting tab , about an inch in from the right in the top slot. John
