Olympus spinning off unprofitable parts of the company so when they go under there is no “Olympus is going out of business” headline. Sad end, really.

I’m a long time Olympus user, 50 years, from Pen half frame to OM to mft. But after reading this press release I still don’t know what they are talking about.
Corporate Speak, no matter what company utters it, is still, at long last......... Corporate Speak...
In the end, if you cornered this guy and asked very specific questions that mattered to you, you can pretty much expect to get no answers that are definitive. Probably because these folks just ain’t sure themselves where this effort will be in 1 or 2 or 5 years.

Oh, and I still have both of those cameras in the picture.

I don't think anyone knows what to expect but it's not like Olympus has been flexible or nimble as a camera company for a long time, so it could be a good thing to change up the top. Or it could be a bad thing. At least micro four thirds users still have Panasonic.
