How many is enough?
Right jesse, I should have typed that differently. (not +/- 10%) Thank you. Same corrected.
I think the 50mm f1.4 would be a great choice and don't be put off by the hype about the early vesrsions being inferior ...
... come to think of it who am I to tell you anything about lenses! 😛
Zuiko 24mm f/2 writing on Sensia 400 (expired long ago):
This lens I got as Repair/AS-IS from the 'bay. The back "guard" ring is mangled beyond comprehension, but the optical, focusing, and aperture is working just fine 😕
So I just took the ring off and try it on my OM-3, no light leaks. Consider what this lens goes in the market in good condition, it was a good day for me. 🙂
In the past I've also thought I could handle the 24mm focal length fine until I got the prints back. Horizontal lines are sometimes rendered not pretty.
Were these shot with the H.Zuiko 35mm f2 or the Zuiko MC 35mm f2?
Being a lens ludite I confess I had to go and have a gander because I've never looked at the front end ... I'm usually looking through it from the back! 😛
There's an MC on the front ring so I gather that means it's multi coated?
That sounds strange to me, that 21 would work for you when 24 didn't. My struggles with the 24 kept me from even attempting to use a 21. I certainly haven't thrown in the towel with regard to the 24mm length, I just recognize that I need a lot more practice. I also do well with a 28.
