Also posted in the thread about framing photos, but then I realized that the images were only links...

Images below are a tryptich that share the same general location and time period (in or around Chicago in the early aughts), same film (Scala with slight blue tint in post-process) and same system (Zuiko 18, 35 shift and 85). they make a nice tryptich of simple geometry.

really nice photos, you guys. :) i cant wait to get through the growing pile of my film and see my own photos cuz honestly i cant even remember my own work anymore. :bang:

also, i'm really excited as i just won a 55/1.2 with a set of 3 oly extension tubes for a great price. :D i've heard and seen so much about the lens and have never used tubes before. the potential for fun is limitless. :)
 
received my 50/1.8 from keh today. lovely damping, click stops and diaphragm movement. jewel of a lens. now, if only the body will get here ...
 
This one would stand out too. It is really ugly and a spring may shoot out and hit her in the eye if you try to play with it. That would definitely get you thrown in the dog house.
 
om-1 from ralph is in hand. despite the years what a jewel it is. microprism snaps in and out of focus with the 50/1.8 aboard. it is loaded with hp5, and i've already made some snaps.
which hearing aid zinc air cell is closest to correct for the meter?

All the (zinc) hearing aid batteries are fine, just pick the biggest one and fill out the chamber with a rubber washer.

You are now a doomed ... er, complete ... man.
 
I have used John Titterington for a few manual SLRs and can't say enough good things about his service. He is reasonably priced and fast. He has an ebay store on which he sells cameras he has overhauled, but also does repairs as a business. I can't recommend him high enough. In fact, the other OM1 I have will find it's way to his shop at some point.

I do have the other.... how many should one have?..... OM1 I came onto off to John Hermanson who is the resident OM guru. I have not used him before, but you will not find a bad thing said about him. His current turn around time is 6 weeks though.

you could say i am well pleased. hp5, ilfosol 3 1+9, 67.4F, 6 mins, 45 seconds.
 
Those look great, I am glad the camera is working as we suspected. I was afraid with your earlier post that the light was just flowing into that old body.
