oh, it had a BiN price of 150 earlier lol. I guess now it will go for a bit more than that.

It's threads like these that reveal the seriousness of my addictions. I have 11 working OM bodies (2 OM-1, 1 OM-1n, 3 OM-2n, 1 OM-4, 4 OM-4T). Still struggling not to buy some more . . . .

....god, that white OM is beautiful.
i know this thread is geared towards film, but just to comment on the Zuiko 55 1.2 paired with a 5D Mark III....
last week i was out at night with the pair and i've just noticed that every single photo that i took that had a direct light source in it had the "star" effect that you get when using a star filter. for example:

(more examples on flickr)
is this a common thing....? has anyone else experienced this with a 55/1.2 or another lens...?? i absolutely love it, but i'm confused by it. i almost never take photos at night, so i have no previous experience with this.
as for film....

It wasn't searchable via Craigslist searches because it didn't say what it was, had to go by pictures. Pure luck.
And actually I'm just poor, so I have to wait for screaming deals to buy just about anything.
Unfortunately I have to get the 50mm 1.4's aperture mechanism cleaned (probably won't cost much locally). I checked to see if it was something else other than that, that I could do myself, but after a re-grease of the pieces that control the aperture I discovered the blades still move slightly slow. I guess it is an easy repair but a real camera repair dude will have all the right stuff.

Bought an OM-2S from Ebay yesterday. Has some small issue but for $20 it was worth it for me to try out.
It's fun collecting OM's since most are pretty cheap.
Need to sell something (... can't.. do... it...)

Lovely shots, nightstar.. and all the others.. The OM series are really fantastic, I only wish day made also a medium format version.. For the sake of larger negative I am just to let go my small kit consisting of an OM4 and a couple of lenses - keeping only the 85/2 for which I intend to get a nice OM1 just for family portraits and such...

If you really want a MF Oly, look for the Olympus Semi cameras or the Olympus Six, or the Flex.

Well I couldn't resist rejoining the club. An Om-1/50/1.4 was available on trademe NZ overnight for NZ$125 and I couldn't resist. Keith's unrequited love for the simplicity of the OM-1 spurred me on.

The best camera is one that still works!

The spot meter in my OM4 is spoiling the **** out of me!
Strangely I've made more exposure blunders with the spot meter on my new OM-3 than I have with the centre weighted meter of my OM-1.
Too much information possibly!
