Really great images. Giving me a hankering for an OM3 and a Zuiko.
Have had my eye on a 40/2 for the past few weeks.

p.giannakis beautiful photograph! I'm very happy with my 35mm 2.0. It isn't perfect, it's true, but I love its way to draw the reality...

I am not sure why it has bad reputation. In terms of performance it is as good as the cheapo (and well regarded) Canon EF 50 1.8
I had plenty of free time today, shot the same subject with three lenses.

The best camera is one that still works!
I am about a week away from putting a roll of film through this very neglected camera which has always been my favourite by a large margin. It's been five years ... five years too long!

Beautiful camera and beautiful case Keith. I have a black OM-1 in pristine cosmetic condition but mine needs to be seen by the doctor - mirror desilvering (I have a spare one from a non working OM-10) and dead light meter (possibly the dreaded nylon screw as there are no signs of someone actually having ever put a battery in it).
In the meantime I am using the Zuiko glass on my black OM-2n which I love just as much (or maybe a tiny bit more).

That's actually a Leica M case with some packing in the bottom because the Oly is actually a smaller camera. Fits well.
When I dragged this beauty out of storage I had a friend here who is a very good photographer and currently uses a Canon 5Dlll. I told her to have a look through the viewfinder which she did and I could see the amazement on her face. That finder does that to everyone when they first look through it ... even more so with the 1.2 lens on it!
I love this camera!

Yes having looked through hundreds of viewfinders, the brightness of the om1/2 still amazes me!
