Silly little story, went to a park and ride in Ostende. After parking the car they gave us a bike to ride...

The best part was we seemed to have the right of way everywhere.

PS Croydon was my old stamping ground during the war, went to school there and then the school moved to Shirley. Years later we moved to the Midlands and could afford a house.

Thanks for the pointer to Sudek. Magnificent photographs. McCurry I wasn't aware of, and his one-handedness seems not to be mentioned in his Wiki entry or his own bio. But a video of him clearly shows a disability of one hand. I must watch that on my laptop to find out more about his technique & philosophy.
