One last announcement from Leica?

You mean the one titled "The Beginning of the End" that Nikonites have been predicting since the middle of the 20th Century? ;)
 
Just how much R&D do you expect Leica to sustain? They are a small company that is struggling financially, and they now need to master technologies well outside their area of mechanical and optical competence to come up with compelling digital offerings. The S2 is a gutsy bet-the-company project that I am surprised they had the resources to pull off, specially with 9 lenses at launch.
 
I read on one of the forums that they had one last surprise for Wednesday. This isn't me expecting them to sustain R&D, just a question about news from Photokina.
