(One of the) coolest Kievs ever seen

it's all over now, baby blue...

hey, i'm getting a kiev this week!
maybe i'll order some new clothes for her.

where did you get the blue cover?

joe

i wondered. i have the site bookmarked already and will have to take a look later on in the day.

this may be my opportunity to have a red camera.

oh boy...:)

Beautiful camera, but I prefer the traditional black covering.

Nice work!

How hard was that on a scale of 1 to 10? It looks like you didn't have to do much more than remove the self-timer lever.

I think: 3

I didn't remove the self timer lever at all...

What ?????

What ?????

Well well well, did you use dear Carburo the Helios 103 really ?
This lens is MC, was drawn by engineers in the eighties, has click stops... Even if the Sonnar is a desirable lens, (in a big part because it is written Zeiss on it) it is nearly the same as the Helios...
I think what is important is to take pictures, nice looking cameras are just photographer's vanity...

yes, I have an Elios 103, and it's a nice lens, but IMHO nothing compared to the sonnar if used with BW films.

Btw, your Kiev is beautiful ;)
But I don't like lighmeters on rf kievs. Just aesthetic considerations.

Niark Niark Niark
