Hmmm...I'll be following this thread with interest as I've been wondering about the presence of such meets/shows in the greater Boston area.

Where are you from? Here in Southern California, we have www.cameraexpo.com. Perhaps the people who run them can tell you swap meets in your area.rl1856 said:Looking for an online list of camera swap meets ?

While I was living in Southern Calif, the Sequoia Athletic club in Orange County had a monthly meet. I heard that they no longer do. Is that true? Nowdays, your best bet is the Shutterbug magazine listings, and flyers at your local camera shops. We have a large one up here in Puyallup next Sunday (April 23) but I can't make it. The boss (Sharona) has me doing an all day wedding shoot. Good $$$ though.

Russ,
The camera show venue has moved to Carson, CA. I was there today and held many beautiful and wonderful cameras. The owners of the Sequoia Club filed for bankruptcy a few months ago so they had to find a new location.
Today was the first time I have been to the new location, it's a bit further than before, but can be worth the drive because there are more vendors there than at the Pasadena show that I normally go to.
I saw many Leicas, Canons, Nikons and Bessas...I even saw a Hermes Limited Edition Leica (#045 of 500) He wanted $6000 for the New/Mint camera outfit. I touched it...well, I touched the plastic bag it was inside of.
Side note for Russ...I live in So. California but because of my job I have worked all over the U.S. and many other countries. One of my co-workers used to live in Puyallup, now he lives in Graham, WA. John said that the reason he moved to Graham was that Puyallup was getting too city-fied for him. I've been to both places and they're both in the deep woods for me.
Eric,
www.shutterbug.net/tradeshows/ has a good list of shows in it.
