Greetings all.

I am searching for a online photo gallery that will allow me to upload some preview photos and let clients make selections on which they would like edited that I would be able to review later on.

If the images can be shared with a private link all the better, but most important is that the client be able to select photos they want and I can see that info as on my side.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I create "free" Flickr accts for all clients with more than 10 image selsctions.
10 or less I just send in email (like employee portrait sessions or yearbook pics etc...).

Flickr accts are easy to set up and one can keep the images private.
My process is to create a quick email acct and password in Yahoomail then a flickr acct.
I share all of this with the client. They then can leave comments on each picture and I can reply there.
When my work is done the email and flickr acct belongs to the customer.
They can do as thy please with it.

Cheers!

For this purpose you could use Lightroom Galleries, which has an option to number the images so the client can get in touch with you through email and list the images they require.

An example (testing environment, not yet fully-designed) can be seen here:
attachment.php
I'm planning to use these galleries for web-sized image publications and allow the download of a ZIP-file with Hi-Res images from the same page (bottom left link).
The colours can easily be adapted, also the contrast between grey background and numbers can be increased.

On a different level, are you sure you want clients to select images from a raw version, are you sure they have the skills to see the potential of an undeveloped image? The images I'm showing here all are final images, no client gets to see what I've done to get to them 😉

That is pretty nifty, actually... 😎
