Sony is closing all retail stores in Canada. As I walked into one(NewMarket Upper Canada Mall) I saw the Sony RX1 and RX1R listed at $1999.99 Which is a great deal I think.
Sales guy told me it can be put to LayAway item if you put down 20% deposit and pick up before the store acting closing date(End of Feb) and enjoy further discount if there is any($100 or so according to him).
So for those Canadian or visiting American interested in a brand new RX1/R this might be a great buy 🙂
Also, Ottawa Canada Kijiji has a used RX1R with EVF for just $2000! I would buy it if I live there 🙁
