the other day i used a bulk rolled tmax 400 in my hexar af. i set the film speed manually on the camera since the cannister has no dx code. 40H came up on the lcd screen and i thought it was odd but i'd never had to manually set the film speed on this camera. i took several pictures and noticed that the aperture/shutter speed combo was way off given the lighting conditions. i played around with the film speed setting and discovered the progression: 100, 200, 400, 800, 16H, 32H, etc. So, i exposed many frames at iso4000. is there any hope of getting some kind of image with extended development? i know the images are going to be sub-optimal, but the subject matter may suit the soot and chalk result. so, double the development time, maybe?
