Olympus announced its version of the Sony qx1 today, known as the Air...

M43 sesnor instead of qx1's apsc. But for me the most interesting aspect is that the released an open source developers kit for it.. This opens up a whole bunch of different development aspects....for those who want to play outside the normal box.

Another interesting aspect of the design is that it permits use of interchangeable micro-4/3 lenses. And, with the appropriate adapter, also means a plethora of third-party and film-era lenses can be adapted for use.

I see this as much better than the Sony QX1 design, despite the slight difference in sensor size. This really becomes a micro-4/3 camera that's paired with a smart phone.
