A32px from small battery co here in the UK. Just bought some film for the GT as well now, I guess I'll find out how well it's working, if at all. I can't go higher than 200 iso though, the button thing doesn't turn enough.

hmm... maybe the iso scale disc insert is misplaced and the control is actually set at the iso limit.

Check to make sure the ASA disk has not turned. If you turn the ASA dial fully to the left (counter-clockwise) the red mark should stop at about the 5 o'clock position, which should line up with ASA 1000 (if yours is a newer GT).

Tried that Frontman but it stops at 9 o clock and that's it. Seems very stiff to turn as well. I can get it to turn clockwise to about 5 o clock which matches up with iso 25. I guess I'll learn more once I've shot this roll of 24 that's in it. Shame if it's busted but going by the pretty good appearance on the whole it's worth a CLA sometime soon.
Stratcat-I can't turn the film speed disc myself so that seems to be ok (?).
Thanks for the advice gents.

You might want to figure out how to test your ASA setting. Maybe figure out what f-stop should give you 1/30th sec and see if the yellow light becomes lit vs. not lit around that stop. If not, then your camera may be thinking the ASA is far different from what you are trying to set. From the description, I would worry that the ASA dial on top does not reflect the position of the internal devices.

Not getting any lights at all now, no battery check, no exposure lights and with a new battery. I'm thinking, fried circuits myself. Oh well, that didn't go so well, hahaha.
