Not sure I'd ever take the risk of buying a Leica off eBay anyhow, but...

Too pricey, the button rewind is not the prefered model. The price of a reasonable M2 should not exceed £350.00, I have seen comparable M2's for less than £300.00.

Where? I'm always looking at them, and I've never seen one under about £400.

I saw a reasonable M2 ay this years Photographica for £295.00 a M4-2 went recently on the bay for £340.00 looked pretty good to me! I bought a well used but thoroughly usable M2 for £399.00 from a dealer in 2004. There are good buys about.
