Ordering from CameraQuest

CameraQuest says Stephan Gandy is away in Japan til 27 March. Wondering if I place an order now, will it get processed or it has to wait til he returns? Just thinking how long i'll need to wait.....

It won't ship until the week of 28th March - he's a one-man-show.. but as a sweetner he says he'll throw in standard shipping free of charge if you order and pay before 27th March.

I ordered and paid on he 16th. So I'm waiting. Speaking of "ordering" I just bought a Jupiter 8 50/2 for $23 from ruscamera. I hope it's M39 and rangefinder coupled. I think it is, but just need a bit of reassurance. From this forum I gather it's a fairly good lens.

Hi- I kust got my J8 from Ruscamera and had to double-every day or so to be sure I ordered the M39 for LTM (I was afraid I had ordered the Practika mount).

All is good it was the right mount, correct lens.

San Diego Bob: You scared me for a moment. I immediately went back for a look. It clearly states M39 for Leica, Fed, Zorki, and in the lens in the photo sure looks like a screw mount. The auction # is 7501060033 if you'd like to take a look also..

I've placed an order last week, the day after I saw the free shipping news. Never ordered from Steven Gandy (Cameraquest) before, but if he's good as everyone says he is, I should hopefully have a Voigtlander 21mm plus viewfinder to take with me to Melbourne next month.

Ted that is a LTM/rangefinder coupled lens. I got my J-8 from ruscamera too and it is an excellent lens. I think you will be OK! 🙂

It took at least a couple of weeks, maybe more. There was some sort of holiday in Russia that meant the post office was closed but Igor did send me an email about it. Patience is the key... 😉
