Alright I guess i am not sure which forum to post , hope it'd be fine here.

I am sure you guys take lots of pictures, how do you usually store them? I think a lot of people develop their own film and do you guys buy those pages you put negatives in?

how about slide? you like them mounted or just sleeved?

I keep my 35mm negs in archival quality book type sleeves in expanding three hole binders that are longs pins rather than rings. I have tab pages that I keep in the binder to divide the book into general topics. I only write dates and notes on the sleeve. For instance I have a book that is all urban street shots. The divider tabs say NYC, PHILA, NEW ORLEANS, MIAMI and each sleeve dated with a note that might say something like "04/17/2005-Times Sq". Thats as sophisticated as I can get.

The same as Roger.

I write the film number of each sleeve together with the location it was shot and the date.

So 05BW023 was shot in 2005 ('05'), it was a black and white film ('BW') and it was the 23rd b&w film I shot that year. I also use 'CR' for colour reversal and 'CN' for colour negative. When I scan the film I apend an incrementing suffix to the film number to indicate the frame on the film - Vuescan can do this automatically - so 05BW02301 is a scan of frame one, 05BW02302 is frame two etc.
