they're expensive... my local store has 2 of them with the matching 20mm viewfinders, they're going at 10500 czech crowns each (incl. the finder). :| and in LTM of course... damn them with the LTM mount!!! 😛

That's about $430. Silly money IMHO when you consider the price of a CV 21 with finder is about $329 new.

True, Kim... I wouldn't pay for this. Unless I'm exceptionally rich... The Jupiter-12 already does a nice job!

That's interesting, they are so often reported to be uncoupled... sort of reminds me when I was wondering why my (M39 SLR) J-9 wasn't coupling with my Z4 ... 😕 😉

The question about coupling may arise because the Kiev version may not be coupled. The original Contax version of their 28mm for the Contax RF wasn't. I can't say for certain if the Orion-15 in Kiev mount is coupled or not.

However, I can state with certainty that my Orion-15 in LTM is coupled.

The LTM Orions are coupled, the Kiev Orions not. The Orion-15 was made at KMZ and at ZOMZ, I have a LTM ZOMZ Orion. At f/6 there is some light fall-off at the corners, but therefore you can see almost no distortion.
And yes, I would say 120 Euro is a good price.
