ORWO A03 developer

I have found a small bag of ORWO A 03 developer, for 500 ml solution. Developing times are, according to the inscription on the bag, between 6-8 minutes. I did a dab test which shows that the developer still works.

Does anyone know something about ORWO A 03 developer?

It was a standard developer in DDR times. You can use the 500ml several times without re-generation so it is simple in use. However the stock won't last very long.

If I remember correctly, Orwo A03 is the equivalent of Agfa Refinal.

I've actually found that the stock solution of A03 does last a while if stored in dark, full glass bottles. It goes off much quicker if used of course.

Unfortunately, this developer went wrong very quickly.
