Has anyone run into problems upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion and then using post-production software?
I assume Aperture will work fine, but I'm concerned about PS5 and especially SilverFast for the Plustek 7600i scanner.
I was an early adopter last time, and I lost use of my scanner for a few months...:bang:

I recently upgraded both my early 2009 Mac Mini and late 2009 Macbook. The upgrade itself went without a hitch. No issues yet with Aperture, but I have not done a lot of PP since the upgrade. I do not use PS or SilverFast, but my EpsonScan software runs fine with my V600.
FWIW, I upgrade from Lion and most of the software I run did not need to be upgrade after moving to Mountain Lion.

I'm using Lion and an Epson V700 scanner, Lightroom 4, and a Canon printer. No issues.

I run CS5 and CS6 (evaluation) on Mountain Lion and there was a recent SilverFast update for Mountain Lion: http://www.silverfast.com/show/mountain-lion/en.html

Everything works well on my MacBook, exept that the battery runs empty very fast. First I thougt it was the battery (from 2009), but then I saw on a mac forum that several people experience this problem. More about the problem here.

Just discovered an issue... The calendar has changed from iCal to Calendar in 10.8 and along with it auto scripts no longer launch. I use Goodsync to run my backups which are (I guess "were") scheduled via the calander. Now, the entries just open up the scripts in the Apple script editor and do nothing. With a lengthy bit of research I finally managed to fix the problem tonight by recreating the scripts as a calendar event in Apple's "Automator".

Been on ML for a little over two weeks. The biggest issue I have run into so far is that Time Machine backups over wi-fi take a long time or the TM disk is not found at all. This issue has been reported on a number of forums. Not a big deal for me since I have TM configured to run once a day when I open the lid on my Macbook.
Speculation is that we'll see a 10.8.1 in a week or two...
