Hi,

here's a link to a 85mm f2.0: http://www.photo.net/gc/view-one?classified_ad_id=682050

I thought about buying it, but I'll get a 100mm instead.

Well a quick question regarding a 135mm f2.8, there's one on e-bay with caps and case for 115 $ (85 €), that's a good price or what would you say? Condition seems exc
Bought it, too late 😀

Regards
Archie

I think, the price for 135/2,8 is good. But how much will it cost to get it to Vienna?
VAt+custom duty+postage...( I have one for sale, price is 95Euro and the buyer is there too 🙂 )
The same for 85/2 -I'm looking for that lens, but I prefer to buy it from Eurppe...

Good price for the 135, congrats. They run around US 130 in EXC condition at KEH.
One of the most underestimated Zuikos, in my opionion, great lens !

Roland.

well Martin, I'll ship it to a friend in Germany, so shipping will be 7 €. I'll get it over the boarder then, as I'm living quite close to it.

Yeah Roland, it really seems it's in Exc including front and rear caps and a case in exc condition.

Archie: Just curious, why did you choose the 100mm over the 85mm/2, btw, that price on the photo.net classified is *very* good for that lens in the condition that he specified.

well I do a lot of concert and stage stuff lately, so there would be 2 possibilities: 50mm (+35) 85mm (+50) 135mm or 50mm (+50) 100mm (+35) 135mm and due to my experience with my minolta xe (where i have the second version with a 100mm) I started to like that focal length. It was not too close but also not too far away, as you often have a larger distance between you and the main subject. Well I saw a 100mm f2 at ebay which sold at 622 € or so, but I'll limit myself to a f2.8 as I do not really need that stop. But I didn't buy one till now, as I'm currently thinking over my style of photography as I wanna change it, but I'm not sure which way / genre I'll give a try.
