OT: A strange ebay bid experience on lens

I never contact bidders with a cash out price especially when it is less than the current bid. I didn't know they would do it either. It caused a lot of problems and I am still getting emails from bidders. It seems as though there are now 2 people who fell for the scam.

I would relist it, with an explanation of what happened. Most bidders will come again as such rare items are usually found by their saved searches.

The lens did sell and the high bidder has made payment through paypal so all was not lost.

My main concern was whether or not my account had been compromised because of the sudden bidder cancellations all at once but eBay assured me that was not the case. I did however change my password to be safe..
