ot: Anyone using a Sekonic L-308 B, BII, or L-308S ?

I'm considering this meter for my non-metered cameras. What are your impressions on reliability, ergonomics?

Also, I can't seem to find this information anywhere, is there an AUTO-TURN OFF feature on this meter ??? That is, after you take a meter reading, does the meter shut off after 10, 20 or 30 seconds to conserve battery energy. Or do you need to affirmatively turn the meter off?

I ordered one of these two weeks ago from Adorama and it's been backordered since then.. the express shipping I got isn't doing me much good! I think I'll like it once it gets here anyway 🙂

I have an L-308. Dual incident and reflective, no spot. Fits nicely in the pocket. Has an auto shut-off in, I'd say, 20 seconds or so. Mine's lasted a long time. It meters to 1/10 stop.

I used both for street shooting as well as for studio + flash set up, actually most of my work was done with that sekonic untill I started using a meterless Kowa, then bronica, then F2, then M3, and so on. I sold it some time ago.

Good value for money, relible, one AA battery lasts forever. The one I had was about 30secs till auto shut down.

I have the BII, it does have an auto shut off. Like the others have said, nice meter.

Chris, call Adorama and at least have them remove the extra "express" shipping cost for your order. This is the reason I no longer do business with Adorama, no orders ever go smoothly.
