So I need some new business cards for my wedding photography business. Untill now, I have just laid them out and printed them on heavy weight paper at home. Looks good and easy enough. But I am giving out enough of them these days, that it has become a huge PITA to print them myself.

Anyone have a good line on a place to get some cards printed? Probably just black writing with a photo. Photo might be in color, but probably will be black & white.

I absolutely do not want to go the "card printed on photo paper from a minilab" route. I think they are too flimsy and cheesy looking.

Yes, I have used modern postcard before. They do great work...if you want postcards.

At the moment I want business cards. Postcards don't fit in my wallet very well. Nor do they fit in the wallets of people who ask me "Do you have a business card?".

But I should probably look into if Modern does business cards as well. Their work is high quality.

I get mine from www.vistaprint.com. I uploaded my own design and order 250 glossy cards with a plain back at a time.

Use a seperate E-Mail address to comunicate with them, they'll post at least two messages a week!

Oooooh, I was seconds too late 😀

I've designed a couple bazillion cards for companies.. depending on your location, you should have no trouble getting them printed at a 'quick print shop' pretty cheaply.. under $30 for a box of 500.. a pretty small investment, I think

check the local listings for businesses like Kinkos.. I'd recommend doing it locally just because there will be less hassles, and in the event something gets screwed up with the printing, you'll see it before paying, rather than having a box arrive in your mailbox that you're stuck with
