Gene- What scary news! But good also- in that you had immediate attention for it.

I wish you a speedy recovery, I hear walk-about with cameras are part of the cure.

Holy crap! Glad that you are on the mend. Please do listen to your doctors and get well soon!
My dad had a big one 18 months ago and is now in better shape than he has been for 20 years or so. Hell of a way to get motivated to exercise, though!

Thank you all for your positive words and thoughts. You cheered me up considerably.

Day two at home. I was going to try scanning some negs I'd developed before the incident, but can't yet work up the energy. So my son and I are watching cartoons we taped when he was a kid (he's now 21). I never thought I'd spend a day, enjoyably, watching cartoons, but hey, life is full of adventures 😀

be really honest with yourself when it comes to your energy level and what you are 'comfortable' doing.
i pushed myself a bit too much at first and wound up so very tired at times that i was near useless.
let others do for you, at first anyway.
take short, 5 minute walks, that's 2.5 minutes there and 2.5 minutes back.

relax.

Glad to hear from you Gene.

You have got to watch a little bit of the Nickelodeon channel too. I have to admit, even when my son is not around sometimes I turn it on when there is nothing else worth watching on TV.
